Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses StoryToShop and supplements our Terms of Service and Integrations Policy. Using StoryToShop to do any of the following is prohibited.

Prohibited content & conduct

• Illegal content, goods, or services, or content that violates any applicable law.
• Content that infringes intellectual property, or that you do not own or have rights to use.
• Impersonation, or false, misleading, or deceptive claims.
• Fake reviews, fake engagement, bots, or artificially inflated metrics.
• Spam, phishing, malware, or other malicious or harmful code.
• Adult or sexually explicit content where not permitted, and regulated goods/services we do not support.
• Harassment, hateful, threatening, or abusive content.
• Misleading affiliate attribution, undisclosed sponsorship, or violations of FTC disclosure rules.

Authenticity & product standards

StoryToShop is built for creators, makers, sellers, and brands with a genuine connection to what they offer. We maintain standards against:

• Dropshipping businesses — storefronts that resell products the member has no genuine role in creating, curating, or fulfilling.
• Counterfeit goods and unauthorized reproductions or replicas of another brand's products.
• Copied products and stolen designs, images, artwork, or photography — including using another creator's product content without permission.
• Mass-uploaded generic product catalogs with no genuine brand, curation, or seller relationship behind them.
• Misrepresenting mass-produced items as handmade, original, or artist-made.
• Impersonating another storefront, brand, seller, or creator.
• Offering products without a legitimate relationship to them — members should make, design, own, curate, or be authorized to sell or recommend what appears on their storefront.

Storefronts, products, and links may be reviewed, and moderation may apply. We may request verification of product ownership or authorization, and we may remove content or storefronts that do not meet these standards.

Platform & integration abuse

• Scraping or unauthorized access to any platform, account, or API.
• Unauthorized use of third-party accounts, content, or APIs you do not own or control.
• Violating the rules of Etsy, Meta/Instagram/Facebook, TikTok, Shopify, Pinterest, Spotify, Substack, YouTube, or any affiliate network or platform you connect or link.
• Using StoryToShop to evade, circumvent, or bypass any third-party platform restriction or policy.
• Uploading content or links you do not own or have the rights to use.

Enforcement

We may remove or disable links, integrations, content, or storefronts, suspend or terminate accounts, and suspend integration access if a platform requests it or if a user misuses an integration or violates this AUP, third-party rules, intellectual-property rights, or the law.
